Sasha’s Story
how it began
Finding Sasha…
One day I became aware of a 5-week-old puppy in desperate need of help. She was found in a central Kentucky forest, left for dead. When I saw her for the first time, it took my breath away. How could she be so neglected? Her little face was almost hairless, eyes swollen shut, skin bleeding, and her coat covered in mange and mites. She also reeked of an unbearable odor. A forest ranger found her on the side of the road next to a closed bag of dog food. The ranger did not believe she would survive the day. How could anyone be so cruel?
A non-profit rescue group took her in and immediately rushed her to an emergency animal hospital to begin, what seemed to be, an impossible recovery. She was given IV fluids and strong doses of antibiotics to begin the healing process and spent several days in the ER.

Healing Sasha
I couldn’t stand to see her suffer. It was so hard seeing her in pain and I just felt helpless. All I could do was wait. After a few days, I realized I had to take action, so I brought her home to assist in the recovery process. During this time, I began doing research to find remedies that were all-natural and chemical-free for her skin and eyes that did not cause pain or irritation. I could not find any product available like this.
Then, I remembered a friend who used a natural remedy, created by his veterinarian, that was effective in healing skin issues in horses. After visiting with him, I began using this formulation on the puppy. It was amazing to see her skin go from red and irritated to smooth, her coat growing in lush and full, and her eyes restored to full health and function. With the help of the veterinarians and this all-natural solution, she was healed!

Adopting Sasha
Through the process of helping this puppy, I fell in love with her. I wanted to call her mine and decided to adopt her from the rescue that helped in her recovery. I named her Sasha — mainly because I liked the name. It turns out Sasha means “helper of mankind.” Little did I know that while I was saving Sasha, she was my helper — and was saving me.
Sasha is now a happy 10-year-old Coonhound mix with a beautiful coat and sparkling, soulful eyes. She is energetic, runs, plays, and chases squirrels — and as they say, that dog can hunt!
Sasha changed my life. Each day I see her and spend time with her, I am reminded of her healing journey. She went from near death to fully restored to health. This is what motivates me to spend the rest of my life helping other pets be their healthiest and what I want for your pet: No more suffering, natural healing.
