What is Chelated Silver?

Chelated Silver is silver ions in solution. The silver ions are chemically bonded to nonmetallic ions and are therefore evenly dispersed throughout the solution. This bonding in solution considerably enhances Chelated Silver’s antimicrobial action and persistence.

Chelated Silver is highly effective in blocking the respiration of microorganisms, killing them in the process. In fact, recent laboratory tests have verified that Chelated Silver has one of the highest germicidal properties of any skin care product.

What about colloidal silver?

Colloidal silver are finely divided particles of silver in suspension (or floating) in liquids, but are not evenly dispersed.
